Wapun svengaavin tapahtuma Kellarihumppa on täällä taas 18.4.! YKI-bändin sulosoinnut johdattavat humppakansan juhlatunnelmaan. Perinteiseen tapaan ohjelmaan sisältyy tanssiopetusta, jonka jälkeen juuri opitut askelkuviot on hyvä laittaa testiin bändin humppasetin tahtiin. Tänä vuonna päästään lisäksi muistelemaan tai oppimaan valittuja paloja Wanhojen tansseista. Myöhemmin illalla päästään myös irrottelemaan bändin bilesetin siivittämänä. Tarjolla on myös kahvia ja pientä purtavaa nälkäisille humppavieraille. Pukukoodina toimii ”Juuri niin formaali kuin haluat”. Humppaan sisältyvät myös perinteiset Rumin kravatti- ja Rumin kukkamekko -kilpailut sekä bingo, joista voi voittaa huikeita palkintoja! Tapahtuman lipunmyynti järjestetään Hervannan kampuksella Konetalon aulassa 11.4. klo 12.

Basement Boogie
Wappu’s most swinging event, Basement Boogie, is here again on April 18th!
The sweet sounds of the YKI band will lead the crowd into a festive mood.
As tradition goes, the program includes dance lessons, after which it’s time to put your newly learned steps to the test with the band’s humppa set. This year’s humppa also includes an assortment of the Wanhojen tanssit -dances.
Later in the evening, we’ll get to let loose to the band’s party set. Coffee and light snacks will also be available for hungry humppa dancers.
The dress code is “As formal as you want it to be.” The event will also feature the traditional The ugliest Necktie and The ugliest Flower dress competitions, as well as bingo, with amazing prizes to be won!
Tickets for the event will be sold on the Hervanta campus on April 11th at 12 AM.
